Hifi Hosts Saskatchewan Energy Minister
Hifi was pleased to host the Saskatchewan Energy Minister Bronwyn Eyre during the Global Petroleum Show for a demonstration of its High Fidelity Dynamic Sensing technology in Calgary.
During the visit, Hifi demonstrated how its fiber optic sensing system provides continuous visibility across pipeline infrastructure by capturing detailed information along the pipeline. The system measures changes in sound, temperature, strain, and vibration, allowing operators to better understand conditions along the entire length of an asset and gain insight into how pipelines are performing over time.
The demonstration also provided an opportunity to show how this approach can support monitoring in complex operating environments. By analyzing patterns in collected data, the system helps distinguish between routine activity and events that may require attention. This supports improved operational awareness and contributes to more informed decision making across pipeline systems.
Hosting the demonstration during the Global Petroleum Show highlighted the importance of sharing new technologies with both industry and government audiences. It also reflects the growing interest in advanced sensing solutions that support reliable and modern infrastructure across the energy sector.
