Hifi and Trans Mountain Partnership Profiled in World Pipelines Magazine
CALGARY, ALBERTA–(January 17th, 2024) – Hifi Engineering Inc. (“Hifi”), a service provider of next-generation fiber optic sensing technology and machine learning software used to monitor critical infrastructure including pipelines and other assets, today announced the partnership between Hifi and Trans Mountain has been profiled in the January edition of World Pipelines magazine.
Hifi’s role on the Trans Mountain Expansion Project is detailed in the World Pipelines magazine article. Titled “A Transformative Fibre Optic Partnership” (starting on page 35), the article showcases Hifi’s pioneering high fidelity distributed sensing (HDS™) technology in deploying the world’s longest fully distributed fiber optic sensing system on a liquids pipeline.
