Alberta MLA Greg Clark Visits Hifi

Hifi was honoured on June 2nd with the opportunity to demonstrate its High Fidelity Dynamic Sensing technology to Alberta MLA Greg Clark at the GE Innovation Center in Calgary.During the visit, Hifi provided a hands on demonstration of how its fiber optic sensing system operates across pipeline infrastructure. The system continuously gathers detailed information along the pipeline by measuring changes in sound, temperature, strain, and vibration. This allows operators to better understand conditions across the full length of an asset and gain greater visibility into how pipelines behave over time.

The session also highlighted how this approach supports earlier identification of potential concerns and helps improve overall operational awareness. By moving beyond traditional monitoring methods that focus on limited points along a pipeline, the system delivers continuous insight that can support more effective decision making and long term asset performance.

The visit demonstrated the growing interest in advanced monitoring solutions and the role of Alberta based innovation in supporting reliable and modern pipeline infrastructure across the energy sector.

The demonstration also provided an opportunity to share how these solutions are being applied across different operating environments. Continued engagement with stakeholders supports greater awareness of emerging technologies and their role in strengthening infrastructure performance.
