SDTC further invests in Hifi from Seed to Scale-Up program
Sustainable Development Technology Canada continued its investment in Hifi Engineering through its Seed to Scale up program, supporting the advancement and commercialization of its High Fidelity Dynamic Sensing technology.
Hifi’s fiber optic sensing system is designed to provide continuous monitoring across pipeline infrastructure by capturing changes in sound, temperature, strain, and vibration along the full length of the asset. This allows operators to gain a more complete understanding of conditions across pipelines and identify changes in behaviour as they occur. The ability to gather and analyze this information in real time supports improved visibility into operations and contributes to more effective management of pipeline systems.
The continued support from SDTC reflects the importance of developing technologies that improve both performance and efficiency in critical infrastructure. By supporting the refinement and deployment of Hifi’s sensing platform, the program helps accelerate the transition from development to large scale application.
